Veneralia

Birth of Venus Detail by Botticelli

Since I already gave some free PR to the Roman God Mars, let's balance the act and do the same for Venus.

After all, on this day of April 1st, the Romans celebrated "Veneralia" a
festival to workship the goddess of "love, beauty, music, the arts and harmony"
not small job description.
She is said to rule people born under the sign of Taurus and Libra.

In Greek mythology she was known as Aphrodite.

Besides having her own planet just like Mars, she also got her own day of the week: viernes (Friday) that comes from the latin "veneris dies" or day of Venus.

So happy veneralia to you too.
